In the Dreamtime: Sea Dreaming. During my sea dreaming, I create magical fish and water spirits. These “people of the water,” whom the Cherokee called "Yunwi Amai'yine'hi," are friendly folks who help fishermen and other humans. You see, for many Indigenous cultures, water is sacred and has power. The Cherokee ritual called “going to water” is performed on many occasions for purification and cleansing of body, mind, and spirit. It is a renewal ritual. Don’t you want to dream with me?
