Purchase a tote bag featuring the mixed media "The Golden Years - Cook" by Cora Marshall.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Artist's Description

Using working seniors as subjects, I created a series of mixed media paintings. I find their grit and determination inspirational. What emotional, intellectual and physical fortitude it must take to commit to working so that they can live their lives in place with dignity!

About Cora Marshall

Cora Marshall

Cora Marshall, born in Washington, DC, received her B.F.A. from Howard University; Master of Science in Education from Bank Street College of Education with Parsons School of Design; and her doctorate in art from New York University. Dr. Marshall, Professor Emeritus, served as chairperson of the Department of Art at Central Connecticut State University 2006 - 2012. Marshall has exhibited both internationally and nationally including National Conference of Artists; Kumasi, Ghana; A.I.R. Gallery NYC; Skylight Restoration Gallery in Brooklyn; Hammonds House Gallery in Atlanta; Pittsburgh Center for the Arts; Craftery Gallery, in Hartford; the Rosenburg Gallery at NYU; and Picture That, LLC, Stamford, CT with multiple venues.
